Hallelujah!!! DJ Low Key and myself have held down Denver’s best Hip Hop weekly for over three years now, and up until this point, doing a Solution tape has only been a dream. We thought there was no better time to break the cycle of procrastination and finally get it done in time for the venue move to Bar Standard. Well, we got U-N-I & Ro Blvd to host it and over a dozen exclusives and world premiers from cats like Donnis, Tanya Morgan (all doing individual joints as well), Othello, Moe Green, Mike Baker, Kooly High, DJ Day, Exile, Whygee, Kid Hum, and Che Grand to name a few. The final product:

Saturday March 6th, the FrankRadio (Frank 151), tour moves through Denver with Wiz Khalifa and U-God (Wu Tang). The after party at Sutra is the place to be. Fellow Radio Bums partner in crime DJ Bedz and myself will be holding it down as we welcome Jasmine Solano straight from New York to rock a special guest DJ set. 2-4-1 drinks until 11pm. The FrankRadio show is an 18+ event, meaning it will end early, so don’t half step coming out late thinking this will all pop off towards the end of the night. We are starting at 11pm in the mainroom and going hard all night…Good chance Wiz and U-God will also be in the building, DJ’s bring your drop recorders and feel free to go nuts, LOL.

March 4th Get Right welcomes Chi Towns one and only Kid Sister. Word on the street is that she will have her entire entourage of dancers, and if you caught her a few months back on the Jimmy Fallon show, you know her live set is crazy. This will be her first headlining appearance here in Denver. You can catch me opening and closing the night out, setting the mood for whats guaranteed to be a ass shaking hell of a good time! If you not up on Kid Sis as you should be, jump on to Itunes and grab her singles “Pro Nails” feat. Kanye and “Right hand Hi” off her recently releases album titled “Ultraviolet”.

Friday 2.5.10 come celebrate with DJ Low Key and myself as The Solution turns 3 years old. We started this night with the simple goal in mind, to create a weekly that we would ourselves want to attend. Now, three years later we far exceeded our expectations. This last year we have welcomed countless acts from Kidz in the Hall to Exile and DJ Day, and hosted parties for Red Bull, Fools Gold Records and Akomplice Clothing. Three years however still seems like only the beginning…Especially for the news we will announce tonight as we welcome you to come celebrate The Solution, three years and going stronger than ever. Giveaways from Fools Gold, Frank 151, Akomplice Clothing, as well as dope art from the homie Dunn the Signtologist and a delicious cake from the Shoppe.

BONUS: Here is a leak from the homie Von Pea (1/3 of the almighty Tanya Morgan) for the Solution Mixtape #1 that will drop Feb. 19th.

As SIA comes crashing into Denver, so does the infamous Steve Klotz. After leaving Manik Skateboards last year he quickly joined forces with Atmosphere Super Fashion Company. Not only do they cover all the snowboarding essentials with style, they smash a line of street wear that I can’t wait to get my hands on. Come out this Saturday, (1.31.10) as Steve Klotz and the Atmosphere team tear down club Sutra with giveaways from their new line and myself turning the tables in the main room with Denver Nuggets DJ Bedz on the patio.

I started this night almost 2 months ago, and since then it has grown and progressed into crazy dance party. Averaging almost 300 people a night (which anywhere in Denver on a Thursday is crazy), Get Right Thursdays is a beast of a club night and one not to be missed. I hold it down from 9-close with a fresh mix of Hip Hop/Top 40 Remix/and Electro House, similar to any Vegas style nightclub at The Church, one of Denver’s biggest and sickest venues by far. Cover is FREE until 11 for 21+ with $1 drinks until 12pm. To boot we have a weekly rotating live remote from KS 107.5 (station I mix on), hosted by my dude DJ Chonz.

Next week (1-28-10) we have Mickey Avalon in the building performing live for the SIA convention, Denver’s first year hosting it. Ive heard this convention will be comparable to the Democratic National Convention we had last summer. Cop your tickets off the Church website, and be there early, I anticipate the snowboard clicks mobbin that place early.

Its been over 2 years since I have dropped an official Top 40/Remix/House tape, and Ive been itching to get it done. Almost 60 minutes long and full of heat. Easily one of the most anticipated mixes coming out of Denver for 2010, and a no brainer for your NYE parties. Big shout out to the L in Lard for help with the cover art, and what a fitting name for a party mix.
